MapCreate Feature Types
This describes each feature and how they will be seen on the GPS screen.
World Maps
Note the trial version of OziMC only has access to Major Roads.
Ozi Rivers & Low Rivers - Can be seen down to zoom range five in the
color grey.
Ozi Political Boundaries - Dashed line ?????
Ozi Major Roads & Low Major Roads
Layer 5 - Can be seen from zoom range 200 down to zoom range 5 as double line.
Layer 4 - Can be seen from zoom range 100 down to zoom range 5 as double line.
Layer 3 - Can be seen from zoom range 60 down to zoom range 5 as double line.
Layer 2 - Can be seen from zoom range 30 down to zoom range 5 as double line.
Layer 1 - Can be seen from zoom range 15 down to zoom range 5 as double line.
Not all Layers may be available for each feature.
Zoom ranges used are in Kilometres.
Ozi Minor Roads - Can be seen down to zoom range 5 as single line, the layers
are as for major roads.
Ozi Railroads - Can be seen from zoom range 30 down to zoom range 5 as a
railroad design
USA Smart Maps
Major Highways - Double line
Rural Roads - Single Line
City Streets (if you have City Streets CD) - Single line
Railroads - railroad design
Streams - single line, grey color
Note - In some cases with USA Smartmaps on the City Streets CD you will notice
that some data seems to be duplicated in more than 1 feature and/or more than 1 layer.
This is how the data is presented on the CD and OziMC just duplicates the format.
